The Young and the Restless
35th Anniversary

Thursday, April 10, 2008; 7:00 pm

Created by William J. Bell and his wife/writing partner, Lee Phillip Bell, in 1973, The Young and the Restless offered a lush, sensuous world steeped in romance and fantasy—and a new openness concerning matters of the bedroom. Y&R has also brought its audience story lines that deal seriously with such sensitive social issues as alcoholism, illiteracy, breast cancer, abortion, and date rape. Thirty-five years on, Y&R continues to break boundaries. Join the cast and crew as they celebrate this milestone anniversary—and their continuing reign as television's highest rated soap opera.
