Ticket Policies
Events and participants are subject to change without notice. No refunds or exchanges. Four-ticket limit per person, per event. All seating is general admission; no reserved seating. Premium seating for Producers Circle Members at Producers Circle events only.

PBS's Masterpiece Classic
My Boy Jack
With Kim Cattrall

"Have you news of my boy Jack? Not this tide." The Paley Center will host an advance screening of Masterpiece Classic's World War I drama My Boy Jack by David Haig. Based on Rudyard Kipling's poem, this is the true story of Kipling's fervent efforts to ensure that his hopelessly myopic 17-year-old son Jack enlists in the military, and the writer's devastating grief when the boy is missing in action. Costarring Daniel Radcliffe as Jack and Kim Cattrall as Kipling's American wife, Carrie, with Haig as Kipling. The 95-minute screening will be followed by a panel discussion, featuring Cattrall.
My Boy Jack is a WGBH coproduction with Ecosse Films.

A Sundance Channel Exclusive Series
On the Road in America
Wednesday, May 28, 2008; 6:00 to 7:30 pm
This 13-part series follows three students from the Arabic world, as well as an outspoken Palestinian production assistant and an Israeli cameraman, as they travel cross-country interacting with Americans in hopes of coming to understand one another. Episodes will be screened and the journey's participants will discuss what they learned about the U.S. during their trek.

American Premiere
Parallel Worlds, Parallel Lives
With Mark Everett

In collaboration with the 2008 World Science Festival, the Paley Center is happy to welcome Mark Everett, creative force behind indie rock band Eels, to introduce the American premiere of this poignant documentary. The film follows his very personal journey to understand the astounding discovery that his reclusive father, Hugh, contributed to physics—namely the theory of parallel worlds. Following the screening, Everett will be joined by prominent physicists to explore why, fifty years later, his father's work is gaining wider acceptance.
